Five Nikon products receive the “iF design award 2012”

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 10 November 2011 Nikon today announced a number of important wins from the iF Design Awards for its digital cameras and a digital microscope system. Three digital cameras, the COOLPIX P300, COOLPIX AW100 and D5100 and the Shuttle Pix Digital Microscope System won the “iF design award 2012: iF product design award”. The COOLPIX S100 won “iF design award 2012: iF communication design award”. iF design accolades are the globally recognised awards sponsored by International Forum Design GmbH of Hanover Germany since 1953.

Nikon launches free my Picturetown Pad application for iPads and iPhones Support for playback of unique Motion Snapshot function from revolutionary Nikon 1 cameras

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 20 October 2011 Nikon announces that from today its my Picturetown Pad application for iPads and iPhones is available for download from Apple's App Store for free. The my Picturetown Pad app allows users to enjoy using my Picturetown, Nikon’s online image sharing and storage service, with their iPads and iPhones as well as supporting the playback of Motion Snapshots. Motion Snapshot is the unique new function that makes images come alive on Nikon’s new advanced interchangeable lens camera system, Nikon 1.

My Picturetown Pad also supports Book view and a Map view that utilises information recorded with cameras equipped with a GPS function. What’s more, users can enjoy using my Picturetown with their iPads and iPhones with greater ease and shareability through collaborations with Facebook and Twitter.

 

I AM Nikon Wins Gold Advertising Award
