With the Ashes about to start, we’re delighted that freelance sports photographer and Nikon D3 user Philip Brown has scooped the inaugural Veuve Clicquot England Cricket Photography Award. Philip Brown has worked as a sports photographer for over twenty years and regularly shoots for Reuters. Philip’s winning image of Ravi Bopara was taken during the winter series in the Caribbean. The award is designed to showcase the best in cricket photography and is judged on three main criteria: composition, creativity and technical skill.
