Our Photographers

Our official Nikon photographers, for the 2017 FINA World Championships in Budapest are Tsutomu Kishimoto, Hiroyuki Nakamura and Lukas Schulze. All are sports specialists, Tsutomu and Hiroyuki both covered FINA World Championships in Kazan.

Tsutomu Kishimoto

As his father Ken Kishimoto was a pioneer in sports photography in Japan, Tsutomu has been travelling to international sporting events since childhood. His first encounter with Nikon was in 2007 when the long-awaited Nikon D3 was finally unveiled - a defining moment for him as a sports photographer.

Hiroyuki Nakamura

At 17, Hiroyuki was enchanted when he bought a book of sports photographs. Five years later he was covering the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. Fascinated by the wide variety of sports he covered at the Olympics, Hiroyuki has dedicated his career to sports photography ever since.

Lukas Schulze

A freelance photographer and photojournalist based in Dusseldorf, Lukas Schulze is a specialist in sports photography. He has covered the Olympics, shoots for major sports brands including Adidas and Reebok as well as sporting organisations like UEFA, and is also a photographer for Getty Images.
